I have just finished reading Complexities of Care and it has energized my appreciation for this dynamic and wonderful profession! I highly recommend it to all nurses AND those who live with/love a nurse.

Just loved the interview! what a breath of fresh air to stand back and take a look at the big picture !
My grandmother started nursing in 1909, my mother in 1943 and I started PTS in 1969. so there are lots of family stories which resonate with Sioban's ideas. Nurses has always been heavily involved with what was happening and often using what political clout they had to bring about change.

Excellent interview! All those entering the profession and in practice should watch this as it challenges the thinking taken up by many in the profession
