Purpose
Spread ideas among nursing students and nurses
The goal of this website is to share ideas of research, innovation and leadership with nurses. The concept is modeled after the TED conference (www.ted.com), and they powerfully outline why sharing ideas is critical.

I believe that nursing needs to become a more open profession, that shares ideas, inspires innovation and involvement. Nursing needs to strengthen its collective voice, in order for this to happen there must be a stronger internal dialogue to unify the efforts and ideas within the profession. Every nurse does not need to agree with all practices, ideas, or principles, but there should be a basic concept of what is happening within the profession, including the relevant research, resources and thought on various topics.
Nursing Ideas will provide researchers, innovators and leaders in healthcare a platform to share their ideas, thoughts and efforts with the nursing profession as well as link nursing students, nurses and other to the resources, references and applicable information.. I believe that every researcher dedicates their time and effort into their work because they believe there is meaning and significants to what they are doing, Nursing Ideas will create a form for sharing this work with nursing students, nurses, and the greater public.
Content
Currently Nursing Ideas needs researchers, innovators, and leaders that are willing to contribute ideas to be shared. This can be research, professional initiatives, political action based, the requirement is thought that it is an IDEA that is being shared. Nursing Ideas is not meant to promote trademarked products, particular organizations or individuals it is meant to share ideas for consideration, feedback and dialogue as well as provide links to relevant research, resources, or related information. The contributing person, organization or company will be recognized, but is not to be the focus.
General Outline
Video
Each video should aim do the following:
1. Share an idea.
2. Provide support, reasoning or explanation for the idea.
3. Discuss the importance of the idea
4. Highlight where to find out more information, become involved, or participate in research, alternatively suggestions on topics or ideas that need more research relating to the idea.
5. Give opportunity for feedback or contribution of viewers by asking a question for their input in the comment section.

Below the video there links to what was discussed will be posted including relevant work, organizations or websites of similar interest, APA citation of any works mentioned, and any other information the participants or viewers want to share.
Question
The final text part will be the questions that were asked of the viewers to re-enforce participation by the viewer.
